Directors

Jessel

Jessel Monteverde

While studying film at UCLA and interning under Richard Donner (director of Goonies, Lethal Weapon, and Superman),Jessel realized perhaps the most important tenet of his craft.

Story is king. Style meets substance. It makes for more engaging work when both coexist in a project.

Starting out with music videos, Jessel has moved on to the challenges of the advertising industry.Armed with strong storytelling skills and a keen eye for striking visuals, Jessel is quickly making a name for himself.

"Even in the simplest board, I create backstories for the characters to make them more 3-dimensional. Once I find a story, I paint a visual image that draws the audience deeper into the story."

After all, a director can not merely execute a storyboard. He has to take the idea and weave it into something real and captivating. He has to tell a story everytime.

Jessel promises, No matter how simple or complicated your project is, no matter the scope or budget, "you'll always get more than 100% from me."
